Having lived in Charlotte for almost 20 years, it has been impressive to witness how our Queen City has evolved. I moved to Charlotte from Baltimore, Maryland in 2000 after graduating from Towson University, advancing into the role of Office Manager for Dr. Eric Cerwin, who served as the team Chiropractor for the Carolina Panthers for many years. (Go Panthers!) In 2004, I met my best friend and future husband and we married in 2005. When we started our family, I chose to stay at home for several years to savor family time while my boys were so little. Continuing to serve in the development of new staff and account management at Dr. Cerwin’s office part-time, I was driven for something more and started an online skincare business with Rodan + Fields in 2013. These years “at home” proved to be professionally formative years for me. I was able to broaden my network as well as my skill set in sales, marketing, and team leadership through my Rodan + Fields business. In early 2017, the ideal time and opportunity presented itself and I took a leap into real estate. This career has seamlessly blended my personal and professional strengths, which foster a fulfilling work-life balance. My unique personal experience with relocation, moving from Maryland to North Carolina, as well as several moves within the Charlotte area, has deepened my compassion for those who are transitioning from one place to another and inspires me to be the trustworthy advocate my clients expect and deserve throughout their home buying or selling process.
In my free time you will find me exercising at Burn Boot Camp, reading books that promote a growth-oriented mindset, meeting up with friends for coffee, and volunteering at our church as well as our neighborhood HOA board. I love spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our chocolate lab, Dunkin. As a family, we enjoy traveling to new places together, dining out, immersing ourselves in local events, going on long walks, watching our favorite sports teams (Carolina Panthers and University of Kentucky Wildcats) and spending warm sunny days outside by our pool.
